Club ‘character’ fondly remembered

Members of Inverness Angling Club heard the sad news this morning that one of its former members, Uisdean Macdonald, had died. Uisdean, aged 80, had been in failing health for some time and passed away in Raigmore Hospital.

One of the club’s Little Isle ‘characters’, Uisdean was a dedicated Ness angler. In his working days he was a much-travelled man, having spent some years in New Zealand. He will be fondly remembered by his riverside friends.
