It is with some regret that I have decided to resign as editor of Inverness Angling Club’s web site. I have enjoyed keeping members, visitors and other interested anglers up to date on what’s happening on the town beats of the River Ness and on club matters.

The club has received many positive comments about the quality and content of its web site. Along with many others, I believe that the site is a key element of club management and contact with members. It seems, however, that some disagree, choosing the local press rather than simultaneous announcements through the web site.

To all those who have helped me to deliver the news about the club and its fishings, my sincere thanks. And tight lines for what we all hope will be a better season to come!
